HenRYANand
Short-form
Storytelling
Freelance project
Together with content creator henRYANand, we transformed his fast-food adventure across Japan into a chaotic, high-energy short-form series. With over-the-top editing, fast pacing, and a tone that perfectly matched his brand, we helped bring his “Top 50 Fast Food Chains” idea to life — one unfiltered bite at a time.
Challenge
Fast food, faster edits
Ryan — better known online as henRYANand — is known for his chaotic energy, sharp storytelling, and completely unhinged short-form series. His latest idea? Travel across Japan to visit and rank the country’s top 50 fast food chains. A delicious concept — but one that needed to be brought to life visually in a way that matched his unique tone and brand identity.
The challenge was clear: how do you turn simple fast-food visits into high-energy, story-driven content that holds attention, stays on-brand, and keeps viewers coming back for more?
Strategy
In close collaboration with Ryan, we worked on transforming raw footage from his fast-food adventures into a fully developed short-form series — fast-paced, hilarious, and unmistakably “henRYANand.”
While Ryan handled the restaurant visits and wild voiceovers, we were responsible for bringing his brand visually into the series. That meant editing every episode with tight pacing, bold motion design, meme-style elements, and the right tone — from chaotic jump cuts to subtle storytelling cues. Every edit had to reflect the question at the core of the series: is this place worth the hype, or should it be cancelled on sight?
The process was highly iterative. With each new edit, we worked closely with Ryan to gather feedback, tweak, exaggerate, or cut entirely — until every video hit the sweet spot for his audience. The result was a series that didn’t just show fast food — it felt like an experience worth watching.
Results
The content was launched across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok — where Ryan’s community quickly embraced it. The visuals brought his storytelling to life, and gave the “Top 50” series a strong visual identity that matched the chaos and charm of henRYANand’s brand.
The collaboration helped amplify the series, connect with his audience, and elevate everyday fast food into a content format fans couldn’t stop watching.
