Post-production
Internship at Team5pm
While interning at Team5pm, Ids supported the PokerStars team with producing social media content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. From video editing and thumbnail creation to coordinating with editors, post-producers, and creatives — all focused on delivering high-quality, consistent content at scale.
Challenge
High Stakes, High-quality Content
PokerStars, one of the biggest names in the online poker world, needed consistent and high-quality content production to support their presence across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. To keep up with the demand for new videos and updates, the team at Team5pm was brought in — and that’s where Ids joined the project.
The main task was clear: help the PokerStars team by editing video content, creating thumbnails, and working closely with different creative stakeholders to ensure a smooth production workflow. This wasn’t about reinventing the brand, but about delivering strong, reliable support to keep the content engine running.
Strategy
Working under the guidance of the Team5pm team and in direct collaboration with PokerStars’ creative departments, Ids focused on three core areas: video editing, thumbnail creation, and coordination between different stakeholders.
Editing poker tournament footage and highlight videos for social media was a big part of the daily work. Alongside editing, Ids researched, designed, and tested various thumbnail concepts to help the videos stand out more on different platforms. Additionally, he helped scout footage for editors, worked with voice-over artists and subtitle creators, and maintained regular contact with post-producers and other creative leads to keep projects moving forward.
By staying flexible, detail-oriented, and close to the production teams, Ids contributed to keeping the workflow efficient and the content quality high.
Results
During his time on the project, Ids helped produce over one hundred pieces of content for PokerStars’ social media channels. This included short-form edits, long-form videos, and dozens of custom thumbnails.
One of the highlight projects was the “Mystery Cash Challenge” series, which became a major success with over one million views in total. A long-form tournament video that Ids supported achieved over two million views. In the short-form space, multiple shorts went viral, with the biggest video reaching over twenty-two million views and still climbing.
While the broader content strategy was handled by the senior creative teams, Ids’ editing and production support played a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging videos that matched PokerStars’ brand standards and audience expectations.
